Komaba Research Campus (Komaba-II Campus) is the main campus of Institute of Industrial Science, UTokyo. We are mainly working in this campus.
It is about 1 km apart from College of Arts and Sciences, UTokyo (Komaba-I Campus).

Kashiwa Campus

The test field “ITS R&R Experiment Field” located on the north side of the Kashiwa Campus is composed of railway test track, proving ground, traffic lights, railroad crossings, and driving simulator for large vehicle.
They are actively used for full-scale advanced experiments on automated driving, driving assistance, frictional contact on railroad, traffic control, etc., and often used by external companies and institutes through joint research.
From Kashiwanoha-Campus Station (Tsukuba Express) to the UTokyo Kashiwa Campus, Shuttle Bus Service is available as well as ordinaly public route bus. The Shuttle departs from the depot in front of the Kashiwanoha Campus Station Satellite located in the West Gate of the Station, and some of the bus is operated in automated driving. Timetable

Kashiwanoha Campus Station Satellite

Kashiwa Future Center, The University of Tokyo has opened in 2014 for providing fields for social experiments for local community. In this branch, we study transport information systems, public transports, personal mobility, activation of Kashiwa cental area, etc., working as a leading member of Kashiwa ITS Promotion Council.
